Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE’s)
How Early Experiences Shape Development, Behavior, and Resilience
Early experiences leave a lasting imprint on children’s brains, bodies, and sense of safety in the world. This reflective, trauma informed course is designed for educators, caregivers, and early childhood professionals who want to deepen their understanding of how stress, adversity, and relationships shape development—and how intentional, attuned care can foster healing and resilience. Participants will reflect on their own caregiving environments, consider the impact of adult regulation on child regulation, and learn how small, consistent moments of connection can recalibrate stress systems over time.
