Winter Sensory Play for Young Children
This course invites early childhood educators to explore the magic of winter through the lens of sensory play. Participants will gain the knowledge, strategies, and inspiration to design safe, inclusive, and developmentally rich sensory experiences that reflect the wonder of the season. Participants will examine how winter-themed sensory play supports whole-child development, strengthening brain growth, language acquisition, self-regulation, and social-emotional learning. Special attention will be given to the ways sensory play fosters imagination and joy, helping children build meaningful relationships with both their peers and the natural world. (1 hour)
