Transforming Boys’ Early Childhood Experiences
In many early childhood settings, young boys often face unique challenges that can hinder their growth and learning compared to their female peers. These struggles are not the result of deficits within the children themselves but rather reflect systemic gaps in how programs are designed, expectations are set, and environments are structured. This course takes an empathetic and restorative approach, inviting educators to explore the underlying reasons for these disparities and to reimagine how boys can be supported in ways that honor their strengths, developmental rhythms, and diverse learning needs.
