This course explores the foundational role of nutrition in the first three years of life, emphasizing its impact on brain development, emotional regulation, physical growth, and relational safety. Early childhood educators will examine how responsive feeding practices support healthy development and secure attachment. Key topics include supporting breastfeeding in child care settings, with attention to inclusive policies, safe storage and handling, and respectful communication with families.
