Creating Safe and Responsive Spaces for Young Children
A safe, well-designed environment is foundational to children's physical and emotional well-being. This course equips early childhood educators with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to create and maintain high-quality indoor and outdoor environments that minimize risk and promote safety. Participants will explore how intentional design, supervision, and trauma-informed practices contribute to injury prevention and support children's autonomy, exploration, and relational trust.
