Affective Development: The Pathway of Emotions
This online course provides early childhood educators with an understanding of affective development in young children. It begins with an introduction to affective development, explaining its definition and importance in early childhood. Participants will also explore strategies for fostering emotional awareness and regulation, and the role of caregivers and educators in emotional development. The course also covers the importance of peer interactions, building healthy relationships, and techniques for teaching sharing, empathy, and cooperation.
