ADHD in Girls and What Educators Need to Know
This course invites early childhood educators to deepen their understanding of how ADHD presents differently in girls and women, beginning in the earliest years of development. Educators will explore how longstanding research highlights a consistent pattern: female presentations of ADHD are underrecognized and undertreated across the lifespan. This gap in identification can shape a child’s academic confidence, emotional well being, and access to early interventions. (3 hours)
