The CDA Credential is administered by the Council for Professional Recognition, a leader in advancing early childhood education professionals.
In addition to completing 120 hours of training, candidates must create a Professional Portfolio and document 480 hours of work experience within the three years before applying for the CDA Credential.
After you apply, the Council will provide instructions for completing the CDA® Exam and, if required, a CDA® Verification Visit. The Council reviews all requirements and makes the final credentialing decision. Learn more at www.cdacouncil.org.
